The Placement Exchange (TPE), a joint venture among NASPA, ACUHO-I, NACA, NODA, and ASJA, is both a live event and a year round online placement service. This year's live event will be held March 5-8, 2009, in Seattle, just prior to the 2009 NASPA Annual Conference. One of the core elements of The Placement Exchange is the creation of a graduate ambassador program.

The ambassadors will be working with The Placement Exchange in a variety of ways. Primarily, the
ambassadors will serve as the main communication conduit on campuses with their peers and faculty. They will be given the most updated information about all of the positions available within student affairs. We are looking for a first-year graduate student on your campus to serve in this role.

As an incentive to participating, when the TPE ambassadors do their own job search in several years, we will waive their registration fees as a result of their volunteering. Another great opportunity that will only be made available to the TPE ambassadors is the potential to serve as a TPE intern at the TPE event. All of the interns will receive lodging during TPE, along with funding to cover travel and some meal costs.
